STATEMENT
Places have stories.
Structures left behind bridge the past and the present, serving as lingering clues to human existence where life may seem absent. The things we leave behind carry traces of ourselves which later tell our stories and our history.
My work focuses on areas and objects that have been forsaken in the wake of development, having held value at some point in time, they now stand as mere corpses, skeletons that remind us of the beauty they once possessed.
I think of my photography not only artistically, but as a visual study of our surrounding landscape and how we sculpt it through the currents of our alternating and ever shifting lives.
